I still want that lion! Hello, Santa??

It has been roughly a year and a half since Christian and I crossed paths over Wimp and later via YouTube. I tell you, I have never been a cat person but oh boy, do I want a big cat like that. So loving, and hugging, with his lion wife. I am currently in Peru, and I realised I hadn't spread the phenomenon of Christian the lion to people here, and I just simply had to share. Even after so many months, tears were brought to my eyes. It shows, in a world without greed and cruelty, we are all able to coexist harmoniously. If only humanity was wise and selfless enough to realize it.

I share with you the beautiful video...

Untitled no. 1

The broken bones,
we mend.

The broken dreams,
we adjust.

The broken expectations,
we settle.

The broken hearts,
They stay broken.

We merely learn to give out a piece of the whole.

There's a lot of good ones, but this is a great one!

By the way...

I might be changing my blog link to wordpress because I want to be able to integrate my twitter!

Surviving the library

I always neglect my dear blog, i guess I don't value my five followers the way I should. It's probably because I had to force you guys to follow me!! ("good" friends) :)

So today, I thought I should start writing a blog every week. It is afterall one of the cardinal rules of marketing (of myself, right now) consistency! Why would you guys come back if nothing was written? After deciding to write a blog every, I realize that I don't know what to write about. Then my second realization was I always write about random stuff. Therefore, today (and for the next week) my blog will be about my observations in the library.

Experience number one:
They were like this, but just triangular!

This experience was not a recent one, it has aged a bit. When in Bond university in Australia sometime october last year, I was in the library one day and I realized that chinese people cannot chew silently for dear life.

This girl, next to me, had bought five small (snack like) sandwiches. Every single one was torture. Whenever i heard one of the wrappers being torn I knew the sound tornado of chewing was about to be unleashed. If you thought I was annoyed you should have seen the guy at the other side of her. He was having an annoyance attack, i think after the second sandwich he would leave the room. Haha. Okay that's an immense exaggeration, what he did do whenever the munch began was roll back his chair and stair at the back of the girls head huffing. His actions led to my enjoyment.

I don't know what it is with chewing but it gets on my nerves, until it annoys someone. Then it's funny!

Odd Curiosity

www.iphonelolz.com
I am one or those people who have an innate curiosity to read what is going on next to me. I do realize that people need to respect personal space, specially in denmark. I know it's wrong, but I enjoy it. It's something I'm not supposed to know.

The smart phones on train give me great joy. People play games I like to follow, they write interesting emails i like to see. I mean, maybe I'm sitting next to someone who is actually someone and I don't even know it! But mostly I just follow the conservative newspaper. When I'm on the platform waiting for the train, I never get a newspaper because I tell myself that I'll read it on my phone or most commonly I prefer enjoying the ride. The problem is that as soon as someone else has it, in a child like manner, it suddenly becomes a lot more interesting. Last spring I was on the regional train glimpsing at the newspaper the man sitting next to me was reading. He started by giving me a few odd looks, to which I would respond by looking away for a couple of seconds. After a couple of times of this happening, he agreed to share the newspaper and when he was getting off he very kindly offered me the paper to keep reading. I took it and gave him a pleasing thank you.

Writing this on my phone, I now notice that the man next to me (who's email I was trying to read) seems very interested in what I am writing. Maybe we should get together and compare notes.
